Some of you out there may have noticed that Touch and Go just reissued their Jesus Lizard catalogue today. If you happen to pick up HEAD/PURE, LIAR or DOWN (go on! Run down to your local store and get them and while you're there tell them to stock elsie and jack records!!!) you'll see some photos that I took back in their heyday.
Back in the 90s (and now to a lesser extent) I took thousands of photos of bands touring around the area and when Touch and Go put out a call for photos for their Jesus Lizard reissues, I got the old scanner going and sent them some choice pictures. I never dreamed that they would use so many of them. Here's the LIAR spread:
All the photos under the middle crease are ones that I took. Crazy. The day these arrived in the mail was a happy day in the Rodriguez' house.
Which brings me to the ELSIE AND JACK GALLERY. Over the next few months / years / decades, I'm going to be putting up these and more photos that brother Phil and I have taken over the years. For now, check out a very rough version of the page:

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, elsie and jack are proud to present two new releases of cosmic delight by the French artist BRUME :
THE SUN //
THE MOON
This is the rebirth of BRUME: something old (THE SUN) and something new (THE MOON)!!!
They will be released as a package within the coming weeks, once the artist has received his copies!
The Sun may be familiar to some of you who follow Renou’s work, as this is a remastered release of one of his early cassette pieces, originally issued on Old Europa Café.
Also, to those who purchased the reissue on OEC last year, we will be offering a mail-in recall program. More information on this soon.
There is a special signature edition of only 100 copies, from a total pressing of 671. We'll send another mailout in the next few weeks to the folks on our mailing list so that you can be the first to order the limited edition version. Also, the website will be updated in the coming weeks with more information and pictures / sounds from the two releases.
